The Rencontre Assyriologique Internationale (RAI) is a yearly five-day conference, open to all those who are interested in Assyriology and Near Eastern Archaeology. The RAI is organized by a different university each year, and the first one was held in Paris, June 26-28, 1950. During the five days the Rencontre is held, lectures about Near Eastern studies are presented by established experts, as well as up and coming talented (Ph.D.) students.

The Rencontre of 2015 was held in Genève and Bern, Switzerland, and in 2016 you are invited to visit Philadelphia, USA. For the website, click here:
